2014 ISDE - CODY SCHAFER
The Bookcliff Rattlers Motorcycle Club is proud to announce the support and sponsorship for Colorado racer Cody Schafer on his quest to compete in the 2014 International Six Days Enduro located in San Juan, Argentina.
Cody has raced in many of our Clubs enduros over the years and we find it fitting to give back and help him with some of the expenses associated with putting a professional racer effort to reach Argentina. The Club will be sending Cody a check for $2000 as a club donatation/Sponsor.
Cody will race as a team member on the USA Missouri Mudder Club Team along with teammates AJ Lehr and Kyle McDonal and will be apart of the 31 member roster representing the United States of America.
The 2014 ISDE race will be held in San Juan, Argentina November 3rd - 8th, 2014. Argentina shares a boarder with Chile as the two most Southern countries in the world, the next stop is the continent of Antarctica. When ISDE teams arrive, spring will be in the air, while back in the USA tree's will be changing to fall colors as we scury to ready our homes for the next Polar Vortex to arrive.
Preparation will take weeks to ensure everything Cody needs makes it into a special crate and on a flight from Ohio that the AMA has arranged to get all the goods to Argentina. Cody will strip his bike down to the frame so it can fit into a 38" x 24" x 45" tall crate and will rebuild it upon arrival in Argentina. Cody will leave the USA on October 26th to start training and prep his bike based on conditions.
Winning a spot on the ISDE Team may have been the easiest part, getting to Argentina and covering the costs associated with spending 13 days in a foreign country and getting all the gear there can be the biggest challenge.

While the Clubs donation will help ruduce some of the fund raising needed to make the trip a success, we need your help to raise additional money to cover the expenses.
Donations can be made via Paypal by clicking the button below and any amount can be sent. 100% of proceeds (Less fee PayPal collects) will go directly to our clubs Paypal account and a check written to Cody a few weeks prior to departure.
We are proud to support Cody and wish him a safe and successful race.
Thank you for your support.
